- have just found your site and have
been reading through the lists of like minded people who are
curious about their past. This is truly a wonderful site. I
actually have a slightly different request. In 1993 my husband and
I purchased a delicenced hotel in Hargraves Street, Castlemaine,
Victoria, Australia. It was built by Fitzgerald Brewing
(Castlemaine XXX beer in those days Castlemaine XXXX now - the no.
of X's denote the beer strength). Fitzgerald Brewing has been
taken over so many times during its long life that all historical
records have disappeared. I have found the hotel was once called
The Devonshire Arms Hotel and Goodall Family Hotel. I am
particularly interested in any photos of the exterior or interior
as I would like to restore the hotel. I have found many marks on
walls both inside & out that show significant alteration over
the years. I am also very interested in the lives of the people
that lived within its walls. I have heard that Fitzgerald Brewing
moved to Queensland after some form of tiff between owners but
cannot find any records to confirm this. I have also found that an
Elsie Grigg was a publican at one stage but need more info. if
possible.
- Hope someone can help me. Lynne
Mewett: lynne(at)creativeambience.com.au
- Above was my initial request for
help. Over time I have been able to gleen some more names
connected to the hotel - Thomas Durant in 1864 applied for a
publican's license (granted Mar. 21, 1866) and the corner the
hotel is located on (as a weatherboard building) was called
Durant's Corner. The hotel was clld Devonshire Hotel & General
Store. I think this may have been sold to G.A. Tather and there
seems to be a name change to George Alexander Hotel. The hotel was
transferred to Ann &/or Amy Isabella Marcus in 1889 then
Charles McLean in Jan. 17th 1891 then to Thomas Goodall Feb. 21st
1891. Thomas Godall advertised a tender for re-building.
Devonshire Arms being demolished - had a weatherboard front. Next
mention is Hannah Goodall Dec. 14th 1899 then transferred to
William Gourlay - still Devonshire Arms Jul. 14th 1901 then
transferred to William Henry Curnow Aug. 13, 1904 still there
Dec.13 1904. My trail ends here. This information from the Mount
Alexander Mail was given to me by someone called Sharon. I thank
her very much for this information from which I have found that
Thomas Durant was a grocer (The Argus) - something happened to him
1866 - either bankruptcy or death. I have come across some Trustee
notices (The Argus) which are quite vague.
- Hope someone can shed more light on

- What a change to find a web site
that acts like an open forum for anyone interested
congratulations.
- We are currently tracing my
wifes family and have found a number of names that are
causing conflict. During WW1 Robert Eli Hearn met and married
Isabella Margaret Melrose in (we believe) Scotland when they met
whilst Robert was in hospital in 1918. Isabella Came to Australia
in 3/1919 and she was pregnant with my wifes father
(Archibald) who was born in August 1919 at Ballarat. Isabella was
living with Roberts parents at Rokewood Junction for most of
this time.
- When Robert returned from UK in
9/1919 Archibald had been born and Isabella had left the family
home at Rokewood Junction and taken off with Roberts cousin
(who also served in WW1 in Egypt but returned in 4/1919). The
cousins name was William Mathew Jones and he shows in his
army enlistment records that his father was C Jones and he was
born in Camperdown Vic. No record can be found that confirms any
of these claims but the Jones connection is quite strong with a
confirmed certificate showing Roberts father had married a
Jones.
- William and Isabella left to live
in Sydney and assumed the name of Smith which is the name that
Archibald was known as and also my wife and her siblings. We can
find no marriage certificate for William and no divorce papers for
Robert and Isabella
..not surprising considering the
efforts taken to hide their past. Robert made some early attempts
to make contact with William and Isabella but when this was not
forthcoming he married Maud Harvey in 1920.
- We would appreciate any
information on Williams background and also any details
on Isabella prior to 1919. Also any details on Robert with his
2nd wife Maud and any children from that marriage.
This could be a plot for a novel
!!!!

- Wow! What a great site. I am
seeking info re : Daniel Walsh (yes thousands of them, I know.
My Daniel was born in 1845, Roscrea, Tipperary to Daniel Walsh
and Margaret or Mary ODonohue. NO RECORDS CAN BE FOUND or
I dont know where to start.
- Daniel left Ireland either alone
between 1868-1874 for New Zealand. Once again we cant
find records. He married Elizabeth Cleary in Dunedin NZ in
1875. I have a full family tree from there if anyone is
interested or related.
- Elizabeth was born in Banagher,
Ireland 1851 to John Cleary and Honora Molloy. They married in
1823, I think. Elizabeth had a sister, Ann, much older ,who
came and married in Victoria Australia. Once again records
available.
- But, I cannot find data to
confirm any of Daniel and Elizabeths family background. The
marriage cert from NZ states nothing and Ive tried the church
as well
nothing.
- Anyone able to
help????

Hello, I am hoping that someone
might be able help me trace my father's side of our family. His
name was William Lyons son of George Michael Leonard Lyons (known
as Nugget) and Gertrude (nee Greentree) Bateup. His parents were
William Lyons & Charlotte Matilda Winter. Charlotte was born
in 1863 at Merriwa, William was born in 1853 in Gulgong. They had
8 children, the twins William and Winfred born in 1900 did not
survive. The other brother's & sisters (Vera Joan B. 1896 D.
1902, Leslie Reginald B. c1902 D. c1974, Audrey Joan B. 1904 D.
c1967, Robert B. 1908 D. c1938 & Zara Daphne B. C 1909.) were
all born around the Mudgee Gulgong area. I have found some
information on my great Aunts & Uncles. But both my parents
have passed away and as far as I am aware do not have any living
relatives today. Unless I have some cousins' I know nothing about.
I have now hit the proverbial brick wall with them. I can't seem
to find much about great grandfather William. I have his year of
birth but that is it. I can't find his parents. His wife Charlotte
is obviously related to the Winters in the area and also the
Knights. Her mother Matilda Reed married twice. Firstly to George
Winter in 1862 at the Church of England Church at Merriwa &
William Knight in 1855 at Cassilis. Also Matilda & William
Knight's daughter Esther B. 1857 D. 1941 Married Malcolm Carr
B.1850 D. 1927 were married in Gulgong on the 23rd June 1875. So I
have a bit of a link with the Carr's as well. Can anyone help me
find some information on Great Grandfather William and his
family.

links to my own heritage, are you aware of anyone doing this

- Thanks for the invite. My DENT
family, Susan and William settled in Bombala in 1853, their
daughter Mary and husband James JOHNSON going to Woolway
Station near Berridale. James subsequently worked as a
shearer/sheepwasher around the Monaro until 1867 when they
re-settled in Candelo and he became the poundkeeper. His mate
was Skelton HEAD, also a shearer. I have an undated - c1868-70
- un-named photo which I'm trying to identify and hope to find
some DENT, JOHNSON, HEAD descendants who might have the same
photo in an old album. It is currently showing at the beginning
of the William and Susan DENT page on the Monaro Pioneer
website. I'm also attaching a "doctored" version which makes
their faces clearer.
- I do know that Susan and William
sit in the centre foreground surrounded by grand-children
Eliza, Sussanah and Margaret Johnson. I think James and Mary
JOHNSON are standing on the extreme left. I think the DENT
brothers William and Isaac (with the moustaches) are standing
on the extreme right. I think the youngest son Charles DENT is
sitting on the extreme left and his wife Clara Mary (FORD) is
sitting on the extreme right. I think the photo might have been
taken in 1868 to commemorate their wedding. That leaves the man
standing second from the left as being Skelton HEAD who married
Ann DENT, who would be on his right. Just need confirmation and
am happy to pass the photo on to interested descendants.
- Not any of your people I know
but perhaps someone seeing this might know something. Many
thanks. Dawn Coleman (descended from James Mary's dau Eliza -
who married John Leplaw - whose dau. Harriet married Wilhelm
Thaler - whose dau. Wilhelemenia "Billie" married Stan Bancroft
- whose first dau. I am.)

- Thank you so much for the
splendid effort you have put into this site. I have thoroughly
enjoyed reading through it.
- My main research interest is in
the Yass area. In particular William Sharman (c1810-1847) who
came out as a convict and worked as a shepherd on a property at
Bogalong. He died in 1847 leaving a young wife (Julia Shortall
1818-1905) and two small children Mary Ann (b. 1843 Windsor
NSW) and Martin (b. 1845 Yass). His wife Julia was pregnant
with their son William who was born at Queanbeyan NSW a few
months after his fathers death at Bogalong. She gave her
profession as washerwoman when baby William was christened at
St Gregorys R/C.
- I understand there were no
newspapers at the particular time but I would dearly like to
know more about the details of William Sharmans death if
anyone has a suggestion to offer.

I am researching the Quinlan
family, require any information on Thomas Quinlan married Mary
Ann Dwyer, their son Joseph James Quinlan born Mortlake Vic
1869 married Catherine/Katherine/Kathleen Ward (aka Hughes)
1924, died Darlinghurst 1955.I have no information on siblings
for Joseph James (known as Jim) Quinlan. The family are
believed to have lived in the Warrnambool area of Victoria.
Joseph James Quinlan was actively involved in horse racing,
training race horses, and at one time was an amateur jockey. He
was a butcher by trade. Any information on either Thomas
Quinlan (father) Mary Ann Dwyer (mother) and Joseph James (son)
my grandfather would be gratefully accepted. Joseph James
Quinlan lived in Coonamble for many years before moving to his
son's stables at Kensington,(Sydney). I do not know where
Thomas and May Ann lived or died, but I believe Thomas died
early and Mary Remarrried. I would be very gateful of any
information.
- ALSO searching for information
on Bernard Ward born 1841 Gulgong married Margaret Carroll 4
March 1878 at Gulgong and was killed at "Bullarora" via
Coonamble 3 Aug 1878 aged 37 years. I believe he was buried at
"Bullarora", possibly at the site of his death which is stated
as an earth fall during tank sinking. His death certificate
gives little information. does not state the actual cause of
his death. No information regarding his parents names etc. Also
fails to mention he had a child. She was 5 months old at the
time of his death, her name was Catherine Mary Ward born 31
March 1878 at Gulgong. Does any one know of the Ward family
living in Gulgong during the 1840's. His wife Margaret married
a John Hughes after his death. John Hughes is stated as a
witness to the burial of Bernard Ward on the death certificate.
Mararet and John had 3 daughters, Maggie died aged 14 yrs, plus
Maude & Bridget ( who both married two brothers Peter and
John Callaghan) and lived in Coonamble most of their lives. Any
information please email

- Hi this is a wonderfull site, I
am trying to locate my family they are from the Richards,
Bessell, side. My father is Graeme Leslie Richards born 10 dec
1939 at 6 appledore street devonport tasmania., his father was
Wincent Edward John Richards born 19 june 1916, and his father
Herbert John Richards birth 10 dec 1895,Ross, Tas. Herberts
wife was Corrinda Richards. Now Wincent went under the name of
Winston or (Jack) He married my grandmother MAY EDITH JOSEPHINE
BESSELL in 1938, then May left and the story is Wincent married
May's sister Lorna Lillian around 38 years ago. I have tried to
find May's details and Lornas but this is proving very
difficult. I have my fathers birth cert and it says he had a
brother but I have no idea of his name or how to find him. May
apparently moved to Castlemaine Victoria and it is said she
married a Charles (surname unknown). May Had died in Victoria
but I can't find her death any where. Lorna Lillian had been a
housekeeper for a Jean Bessell nee Campbell. And it is said
that a man MR COLE who was blind lived with Lorna at Don
Devonport in Tasmania. If any one can help trace my family
history it would be most appreciated. Graeme, Wincent,
Corrinda, May and Herbert have passed away and Lorna is a
recluse and will not tell any one any thing.

- Hi Mike & Sue!
- Help! I am tracing my family

- I am looking for any information
on Maude Parker (my grandmother). Maude, I am told, was related
to the 'Baileys', of Yarramalong, St. Albans, & Wyong,
although I can't find how! lol. She lived with her daughter,
Jean Evelyn Parker, at Riverwood, NSW in 1950-1960's, until she
moved to Septimus Street, Punchbowl and lived with her other
daughter, Maizie Buckley. I believe that she passed over mid
1960's and is buried with her husband (my grandfather),
although i haven't been able to locate any cemetery records on
this. I also do not know my grandfather's christian name, which
makes things all the more difficult. She also had a son, whose
name was John Parker. He is now deceased. Can u pls place me on

- Hello
- My brother and I are searching
our family history in preparation for a reunion end of March
08. We have found some info but now some of it is running into
one another, can anyone help us out. Our Great grandparents
were James John Stewart and Catherine Hayes. They had children
known to us named James (b ? 1875), Thomas (b ? 1876), Gordon
(our grandfather, born 1891 Died 1984 may have been registered
as Henry), Anne, Grace, Ethell, Louisa, Hilda (b 1901), Nell
and perhaps Sarah (b 1877) and Mildred May (b 1894 d 1909). We
have found a John Stewart born 1823 and died 1868. joined Army
in 1837 aged 14yrs and served in Boar War Unsure where he fits
into the picture but the other ones we are unsure of are Thomas
Stewart born 1857, died 1918 buried at Boorowa son of John
Smith Stewart and Mary Cyria, married to Bridget Gibbons
daughter of Gardiner and Winifred Gibbons. Bridget was born in
1829 and died in 1926. Buried with Thomas at Boorowa. Given the
age difference its hard to believe these two were husband and
wife, wondered if in fact Bridget is buried with a son called
Thomas because the othe Thomas Stewart was born in 1876. Some
of these people were born in Deniliquin, Muswellbrook and
Boorowa as our grandfather was a roustabout/shearer. Also
Anthony Thomas Stewart brother of John Stewart and a Grace
Stewart was married to Mary Elizabeth Hayes and they had a son
James Edward Stewart born in 1867 and died at 12yrs in 1879 .
Hope this is not all too confusing but we are stuck for linking
it all together. Most of the family appeared to be centred
around Boorowa NSW. Please help with any more info.

Have just discovered your wonderful
site today, following receipt of my great grandfathers death
certificate which has led me to Yass. Could anyone help me with
information relating to a John McPherson who lived at Wee Jasper
and died in Yass Hospital on 9 February 1922? He married Elizabeth
Park/Parks/Parkes in 1874 and had three children, Charles, Thomas
and William born 1876-1879. His occupation is listed as Labourer.
Any clues would really be appreciated as Ive been tracing
John and Elizabeth for the last two years with little success. My
email address is terry.mann(at)bigpond.com. Many thanks in
anticipation.

Hello there, I came across your
guest book and hoped that I may have success in finding anyone who
knew of a Merv Maitland , he was in Brunswick Junction WA around
1950 and now I guess would be in his 80s or 90s if still alive. I
believe he may have had brothers or sisters and I would be so
grateful for any information I can receive about him. His full
name may have been Mervyn Maitland. Thanking you so very much.

Hi Mike & Sue!
- Help! I am tracing my family
tree and seem to be hitting the proverbial 'brick
wall'!
- I am looking for any information
on Maude Parker (my grandmother). Maude, I am told, was related
to the 'Baileys', of Yarramalong, St. Albans, & Wyong,
although I can't find how! lol. She lived with her daughter,
Jean Evelyn Parker, at Riverwood, NSW in 1950-1960's, until she
moved to Septimus Street, Punchbowl and lived with her other
daughter, Maizie Buckley. I believe that she passed over mid
1960's and is buried with her husband (my grandfather),
although i haven't been able to locate any cemetery records on
this. I also do not know my grandfather's christian name, which
makes things all the more difficult. She also had a son, whose
name was John Parker. He is now deceased. Can u pls place me on
your geneology request list.

memorial/roll of honout dedicated by W.Manns - I have inherited a
photo of this memorial that has a notation "dedicated by W Manns
gr grandfather of Dorothy Henessy (this would make it my gr gr
grandfather. I am descended from this William's son, who was also
named William Manns and Emily Maria Frances Organ. The family
lived in the Gundagai/Wagga Wagga/Adelong/Tumut and surrounding
districts for many years. I am interested in any information on
the Manns family. Emily Maria Frances Manns(nee Organ) was the
daughter of Thomas Organ and Honoriah McNamara - I have been
searching for a death/burial for Honoria, she remarried to Arthur
Mcconnell(at Wagga) after the death of Thomas and Arthur also
predeceased her. I have not been able to
- find a death index for Honoria
under Mcconnell, Organ or Mcnamara and would be interested if
anyone has information regarding her. She was the daughter of
Bryan Mcnamara and Mary Reddy who also lived in the Wagga area.
Would it be possible to put my queries on your family interests

of it please let me

- Hi Sue & Mike,
- You are indeed a kindred
spirits. I love your site especially the photos of churches, in
particular Glendalough. For my honours at uni I'm going to
researching the early Irish church, so we've visted many
abbeys, churches and monastic sites in the UK and Ireland.
Glendalough, Iona and the Rock of Cashel remain the
favourites. I've just come back from Ireland for the
second time this year. In the process of ancestor hunting
(McKimm/McKim, Leggett/Liggett and Hall) in Co Tyrone we
visited and have photos of the Church of Ireland churches of
Derrygortrevy, Newtownsaville and Clogher Cathedral. We were
fortunate to find the grave of my g-g-grandparents in
Newtownsaville and the church in Derrygortrevy where my g-great
grandparents married in 1855. Many other family members are
buried in these three churchyards, however headstones no longer
exist. I would love to find any other McKim(m) family members.
We also had a trip to Ireland in 2004 during which time
we hunted for my Gavin ancestors in Co Tipperary. We found the
site of the thatched chapel in which one of my ancestors was
baptised in Clonmel in 1821. It was outside the town walls in
Irishtown and there is now a very impressive Catholic church on
the site. His father was a convict transported to Australia in
1820. Maybe if any of your readers are associated with Gavin
(Gavans, Galvins), Hogan or Fahey families in or around
Clonmel, they might like to contact me.

Have been researching the family
tree for a number of years but only recently got the breakthrough
on the Blakes and the connection with "Shantalla" (built 1857) at

database. I have details on descendants of Arthur Thomas POWELL
b.1862 & Winifred Agnes BLAKE b.1869 (who was raised by her
grand-father Dr I M BLAKE) but not a lot on her parents Augustine
John BLAKE & Maria Beatrice O'BRIEN or the Doctor's family and
previous connections at Prospect Hill, Galway. List of Medical
Practitioners published in The Australian 4 November 1842 p4 shows
(unearthed by research on Dr Thomas M PERROTT of Jamberoo NSW)
shows Dr Isadore Maurice BLAKE at Campbell Town (sic) NSW. If
Helen Blake is still researching please contact me!Other Irish
challenge is Elizabeth/Eliza Gibson b.1821 or 1822 in Ulster or

believe that he has family in Providence Rhode Island. He was my
gt gt Grandfather. He also had a brother Thomas. They both arrived
in America approx 1890. I believe that they also lived in
Lawrence. His occupation was a steeple jack. He apparently died
approx 1929. If anyone out there could help me in my quest. Kind

wonderful site which I found today. I am a descendant of the

- Absolutely
wonderful site to stumble across. Have already gained some
information, but seek more. Is there someone from the Moree
area who can give me information regarding my Grandfather David
Weir. I am aware he drove taxis in that area for many years and
died in the 1970s. He and his wife, Isabella McRae nee Smith
had 12 children, so they would not really be unknown. Any
information would be appreciated. Alan

- Hi! My discovery
of and first visit to your site was full of recent nostalgia
for me, as my family and I lived in Tumbarumba for four
wonderful years, leaving only 19 months ago. My husband John
was the local Anglican Priest at St Jude's Anglican Church,
with oversight for the centres of Rosewood, Mundaroo, Tooma,
Ournie and also Batlow and Wondalga churches. I found metnion
of various clergy in the notices interesting and am fascinated
by the history of the Various churches and parishes in the
area. Do you have any information on these? THank you for
satisfying my curiosity and giving me a wonderful nostalgic
trip back in time. Tumbarumba may be advertised as a town
bypassed by the appearance of modern times, but your website is
evidence of the dynamic and strong community spirit we found
enhanced the antural beauty and location of the town while we
were priveleged to live among you for four special years. love,

- Excellent work,
congratulations, we can all aspire to do as well. I'm currently
writing my second family history book and it is based on the
Bendeich family tree and the stories of that family. The family
tree includes many of German origin including Ernst, Brunner,
Holz, Kauflein, Bauer etc. and I've tracked down a majority of
the Bendeich names in Germany, USA, NZ,Indonesia and Australia.
But I have been missing one grand lady by the name of Rosetta
Bendeich born 14.12.1879 died 4.6.1939. Rosetta's parents were
Francis Anthony Bendeich and Susannah McGuire from Gladestone
Qld. The story is that Rosetta fell in love with a chinese chap
and fell pregnant and was sent back to NSW, her son apparently
lived in Brisbane, Rosetta I have traced to Inverell and
Singleton and then she disappeared. Just this week on another
web site I find she was buried in Boorawa in 1939. I have no
idea why she would be buried there or the missing years between
1917 and 1939. If anyon! e has an idea I would appreciate a
chat. Once again a great web site.

- A very
interesting site & obviously the result of a lot of hard
work I am trying to trace an ancestor Patrick Murray born in
1802 or 1806 at Muff/Kingscourt/Cavan/Ireland. Note some of the
documents show him as Carlow rather than Cavan. He was married
and had two children. His father's name may have been William
or Thomas. He received a life sentence, was transported as a
convict and arrived in NSW in April 1832 on Captain Cook -1st
voyage. There were no females on his voyage. I do not know
whether his wife and children followed him to Australia. He
worked for J Kennedy in Appin. He appears in a muster of 1837.
He received various tickets of leave and finally, in 1851, a
conditional pardon which meant he was free provided he remained
in NSW. At that time he was in Yass I cannot trace his death
certificate in NSW although I still have to examine those that
would have made him 80+ at his death. I also have to try to
examine death certs for Queensland. I have not been able to
find him in any online cemetry. Indeed I have been surprised at
the small number of Murrays appearing in the online cemetry
lists. Mr Graeme Challinor does list some Murrays. However none
of them is "Patrick" and therefore not my ancestor. Any help or
advice would be greatly appreciated

- Hi, I love your
site. The photos and background are great. I hit on your site
while searching for Wilbraham Tollemache Edwards who is
mentioned in the October 1796 will of John Edwards of
Devonshire. He was John Edwards nephew, son of his brother,
Thomas. I suspect that he is the Brigadier mentioned on your
Manaro Mercury page. I am looking for more information on this
family and would be thrilled if anyone could let me know the
name of Wilbraham's mother. Maureen

- Great site!! Was
searching for my grandfather, William Maher, but nothing seems
to be my luck in this regard. Family stories have him leaving
Ireland "under cover of darkness." He ended up in Omaha,
Nebraska and married my grandmother, Catherine McShane, who was
originally from Crossmaglen, County Armagh. I've been very
successful with the McShane line but the Mahers are a definite
brick wall. Keep up the grand work!

Even though I live in Ireland found a lot of info about my
family. My Lowry and Long and Breen families came from Drom and
Inch. Lowry from Annfield, Breen from Ballypatrick and Long's
from Dovea. My grgrgrandfather was Wm Lowry from Annfield, who
had 7 children. One Jeremiah was my GreatGrandfather, The other
one was William who died when he was 18. of the other 5 we have
no records. Michael, Patrick, and Martin, Bridget and Mary. We
have all the Long's records but have no records of the Breens.
We think the Lowry's went to NSW. My greatgrandfather went to
Australia in 1859 and returned in the 1860's with lots of money
and bought a big farm in Gorteenafoora, Drombane.

- Hi Sue and Mike
I have just stumbled on to your site, and haven't had time to
have a good look at it today, but I'll bookmark it and get back
to it. I am very interested in all the early Irish families who
settled in Gundagai. My husband is related or descended to the
CARRIGG, LYNCH, PIERSE, O'BRIEN families of Gundagai. I am also
interested in the KEANE, CAREY, KEIHONE and LENEHAN (and
others) families. My father's family, the JONES family were at
Goulburn by 1844 then Boorowa by the 1850s. Has anyone ever
heard of a JOHN TRAINOR JONES (My elusive great grandfather). I
am almost tearing my hair out because I cannot find out where
he ended up. He was alive circa 1851 when his youngest daughter
was born in Boorowa, but he seemed to have disappeared after
that. Some of his children were baptised Catholics by Father
Chalres Lovat at Boorowa so I am presuming he had an Irish
background. His wife was Protestant. I am also looking for
descendants of victims and survivors of the 1852 Gundagai
Flood. We are commemorating the 150th anniversary of this flood
next year and our Committee would like to find out as much
genealogical detail on the residents of Old Gundagai in 1852.
Two of the girls who drowned, Ann Farrell and Honoria Jones,
were in the party of Irish Orphan girls from the "Arbuthnot"
who came to the Yass-Jugiong-Coolac-Gundagai-Tumut area in 1850
(see the book "A Decent Set of Girls" by Richard Reid and
Cheryl Mongan). Look forward to exploring this website in
greater detail. It looks great the little I have seen of it!

brilliant site - obviously the results of much hard work. I'm
reseaching the Humphries from Yass and found several entries
which were just what I was looking for. You made my day!

very good site. Unfortunateley we were unable to find any of
the people we were looking for. We know they are buried in the

- A great sight,
my dad always mentioned that the Broadhurst family and
Woodbridge family were related, know I know how. Mum and dad
stilli live in Tumbarumba (Jeffery and Rosalie). I am presently
researching the Woodbridge mob and doing many miles around the
country. I have the tree back to 1823 but as you could imagine
it never stops. Any advice please feel free to email me.
Regards and best wishes Michael Woodbridge. PS: regards to
