Two pocket books, containing bank notes taken from the persons of FITZGERALD and CONNELL, were found in their possession. On Saturday night, in endeavouring to apprehend one of the above fellows that escaped, all are sorry to state a soldier of the Co. Limerick ia was shot by him through the body and instantly expired. The villain has, for the present, eluded the vigilance of pursuit. | ||
