The latter named FLEMING, was apprehended at the Fair of Spencil-hill, for picking pockets; he remained is Ennis Jail until Thursday, when he was about to be discharged, the convicts from Castlebar arrived, and the turnkey identified him as having escaped from prison, when he lay under rule of transportation ; he was instantly provided with clothes, and dispatched with his former associates on their way to Cork. On Monday, eighteen convicts under rule of transportation were transmitted from Carrick-fergus gaol, on their route to Cork, there to embark for New South Wales. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
